PBJS designed and produced PayPal's presence at the National Retail Federation’s Expo in New York. The goal was to to engage retailers, showcase PayPal's payment solutions and invite them to tour the PayPal Shopping Showcase pop-up store in Tribeca. We designed, built, and staffed a booth that stood out at the 25,000+ person event. The 360 degree booth with small scale versions of the PayPal Shopping Showcase retail vignettes, each highlighting key aspects of PayPal's functionality on custom-designed touchscreen.
The booth was part of a larger eBay Inc. presence, including their GSI and Milo properties. We incentivized attendees to visit all eBay Inc. booths with a passport that, when fully stamped was entered in a raffle to win $1,000 in a PayPal account. Don Kingsborough, PayPal GM of Retail & Prepaid, was invited to a panel discussion – attendance of which earned guests a bonus raffle entry.
